The Spring 2013 semester was the first Capstone Course in the GAMMA Program at the University of Texas at Austin. That semester, undergraduates from the Computer Science Department, College of Fine Arts, and Radio-Television-Film Department were assigned to one of five teams, and each team developed a 2D video game.

Team Gratuitous Unity
Circuit is a physics-based puzzle platform game that follows the apprenticeship of a young boy as he learns how to fix machines with his grandfather’s Semi Autonomous Mechanic (S.A.M.). Guide S.A.M. through puzzles to fix the machines.
Team Sad Panda
Hagakure is a 2D action platform game inspired by East Asian ink paintings. Control a mysterious samurai in a dynamic landscape where the virtues of Bushido have been corrupted.

The Short Story of Titus is a platform-oriented storybook side-scroller with heavy emphasis on narrative. The player plays as Titus the lint ball who quests to save his dust bunny friend Beau while facing his deepest fears.

Precursor is a turn-based strategy game made by team Donkey May Cry. Explore the map and scavenge parts to upgrade your mech and town to protect the world from rogue machines.
Milk Run is a 2D platform side-scrolling game made by Team Milk. Play as Mr. Milk as he goes on a journey through the levels of the food pyramid to rescue his best friend, Lady Chip, from the Evil Rotten Eggs!
