The University of Texas at Austin’s Game and Mobile Media Applications (GAMMA) Program is pleased to announce Scott Henderson, VP of Game Programming at Multimedia Games, as a new member of its GAMMA Executive Board.

“Multimedia Games has been an indispensable part of the GAMMA Program since its inception,” said Dr. Paul Toprac, Associate Director and Senior Lecture of the GAMMA Program. “We look forward to having Scott bring his experience and talent along with his knowledge of the GAMMA Program to the Executive Board.”

Henderson, a software development professional for over twenty years, has been a part of Multimedia Games—a recent acquisition of GCA (NYSE:GCA)—in some capacity for more than a decade. In his current role as VP of Programming, Scott manages all technical aspects of game creation: game, platform, tool and engine programming, and QA. Henderson was also the development lead for TournEvent, Multimedia Games’ innovative, award-winning nationwide slot tournament system.

“I’m really honored to be a part of the GAMMA Executive Board,” said Henderson. “I hope my participation allows the relationship between the local game community and the GAMMA Program to continue to advance.”

Henderson succeeds Clint Owen, VP of Game Development at Multimedia Games, as the company’s industry representative. Owen is currently pursuing new ventures in the game development industry.
